submissive Titles and Roles
Below is a list of Roles and Titles that submissives can use. BUT REMEMBER one of the main tenets of BDSM and Power Dynamics is to do what feels right for you and your partner. There are people in the lifestyle who have firm beliefs that a “slave” is owned property and has less rights and autonomy than a “submissive”. They believe a slave can never leave the dynamic and will be willed as property should the dominant die. AND THEN there are people who identify as “slave” because it feels sexy too them and they practice bondage in the bedroom. In the world of BDSM, both labels are valid. As long as you and your partners agree to the terms and their usages, it is really no one else’s business. And when you are communicating with possible partners you should NEVER assume they define a term in the same way you do. Don’t just tell them “I am a pet.” Define what that means to you so they have a clearer understanding.
